Girls on the Move: Manju Choudhary Wins Gold at Khelo India

We are proud to share that Manju Choudhary, a beneficiary of the Ruma Devi – Sugani Devi Akshara Scholarship, has brought glory to her village and district. Representing Khokhsar West Gram Panchayat of Baytu, Barmer (Rajasthan), Manju won the gold medal in the 20 km Individual Time Trial Road Cycling event at the 7th Khelo India Youth Games held in Patna, Bihar.
This marks her first gold medal at the national level in the sport of cycling—an incredible achievement.
